Critical Needs:
VCCKids - we need more teachers and assistants to help FULLY staff nursery, preschool, Kindergarten through 2nd grade, and 3rd through 5th grade classes. We will train you, and provide all lesson materials. We are looking for people who will commit to one month on, one month off for the 2024-25 school year. First Impressions - We need door greeters, "Need Help" desk personnel and Coffee Bar workers for each of our three services. Arrive 15 minutes before your service begins, and stay 15 minutes after your service ends. Please, contact Scott Blount (scott@verochristian.com) for more details.
VCCStudents - we are looking for more people who will love our teens to Jesus. VCCStudents meet on Sundays at 6:00 pm. We want small group leaders to help facilitate our lesson discussions. Please contact Ryne Hrusovsky (ryne@verochristian.com) for more details.
VCCMissions - We are looking for additional team members to correspond with and advocate for one of the twelve missions that are supported by Vero Christian Church. Please contact Chris Stephenson (topher.stephenson@yahoo.com) for more details.
Ongoing Ministry Needs:
Outreach Ministry - evangelism and community involvement is our aim.
First Impressions - greeters, guides, juice & coffee service, and so much more!
Adult Small Groups - All things regarding Life Groups, Bible studies in the church building, etc.
Buildings & Grounds - This team maintains our facilities and our grounds.
Worship Team - Auditions Required! Do you play an instrument? Do you sing? This is the team for you!
Tech Ministry - Lights, cameras, projection, sound! All things tech involving our worship services and the Live Streaming thereof. We always need more folks here, and especially as we now need to do a separate sound mix for the live stream. We will train you, we promise!
SecurityTeam - This team provides security for our VCCKids wing and for the entire building during our Sunday morning services.
VCCKids - Our VCCKids ministry serves infants through 5th graders. You can make an eternal difference in the lives of children. We need teachers, assistants, security check-in folks, and more.
VCCStudents- Our VCCStudents serves students from 6th through 12th grades. We are always on the lookout for adults who will pour into the lives of our students!
Missions Ministry - VCC supports about a dozen mission works locally, around the United States, and across the globe. Our team is always looking for folks who will serve as a liaison with our missionaries.
Fellowship Ministry (broken into 3 different teams)
Lunch After Church - This team coordinates and oversees the monthly lunch after church. Menu planning, meal prep, set up and tear down of tables & chairs, etc.
Game Night - An opportunity to get to know others in the congregation better while playing Euchre. This takes palce on the 2nd Friday of each month at 6:30 pm. Beginning in February, there will be game nights each Friday through the end of April.
Just Older Youth - our seniors’ ministry, gathering for food and fellowship once a quarter on a Friday evening. Our next gathering will be on May 23rd, for an Hawaiian Luau.
